Aims and Objectives

The aim of PSB’s range of Supported Living Placements is to ensure Young Care Leavers are provided with the support and guidance needed to integrate into the community, making the transition to adulthood a success. PSB looks to develop each young person’s self-determination and independence to facilitate the achievement of personal fulfillment.

PSB works in partnership with the Local Authority Children Services, other partners, community-based agencies, and young person’s family/friends to achieve the best outcomes for the young people. These include supporting young people to secure a better future for themselves such that they leave care with the same opportunities, outcomes, and aspirations as their counterparts living in the wider community. PSB aims to ensure each young person’s cultural, religious, linguistic, emotional, health, and independence needs are always promoted, and they feel supported.
